The Learning Support Programme
The Learning Support Programme is designed to offer extra literacy support for students with additional needs, including SEN and EAL students.
There is one after school session per week (Tuesday 3.35-4.35pm) which is a taught session, with a different focus each week.
Over the course of the year, it will cover aspects of spelling, punctuation and grammar as well as reading and writing skills. Please see attached the Learning Support Schedule for the focus of the weekly taught session. Please note that the schedule is subject to change. In addition, there is a weekly ‘drop-in session’ (Wednesday) at lunchtime where students can attend with essays or queries relating to spelling, punctuation and grammar.

We also offer further drop-in sessions, where students are able to receive additional support with any work. One to one support sessions are also available.
