Sixth Form Open Events for 2024 Entry

We look forward to welcoming you to our Sixth Form Open Evenings!

Come and find out about our amazing sixth form. There will be talks from the Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form, then a tour to visit departments, find out about our courses and discover all we have to offer. 

Please also explore our website where you will find a Sixth Form video tour.  This will give you an insight into life at Newstead Wood Sixth Form.

Current Newstead Wood Year 11 Students

Our Post 16 Options Information Evening will take place on Thursday 23 November 2023.  An email will be sent in due course to students and parents with further information.

Newstead Year 11 students will be asked to complete their application for Sixth Form between 8 January and 2 February 2024.  

Year 11 Students Applying from Other Schools

Applications will open from Friday 20 October 2023.

Our ticketed Open Evening for external Y11 students is on Wednesday 18 October 2023.  Please click here to book tickets.

If you are unable to join us on Wednesday 18 October, please email sixthform@newsteadwood.co.uk.  Three small-group tours (maximum five students per group) will be available and these will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.  No further visits to the school will be available after this.
