This week we hosted our inspiring First Give Final, welcoming the Mayor of Bromley, local councillors, members of the Rotary Club, and representatives from each of the chosen charities as our students presented their incredible work to the year group.
This year, the charities supported were CASPA, The Maypole Project, Bromley Brighter Beginnings, Bromley Relief in Need, Bromley Y and Bromley & Croydon Women’s Aid.
We are delighted to announce that 8F were crowned overall winners, securing the £1,000 prize for Bromley Relief in Need! While 8F took the top spot, every tutor group deserves huge congratulations for their hard work and dedication in raising awareness and funds for their charities. The standard of work this year was truly exceptional.
In total, Year 8 students raised an amazing £5,646.21 for local charities (not including the additional £1,000 prize money). Throughout the project, students demonstrated respect, leadership, motivation, resilience, self-control, confidence, communication, courage, and care. We couldn’t be prouder!
