'A Night at the Musicals' was so much more than an evening of performance — it was a celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration. Watching our students step onto the stage, bringing stories to life through song and instrumental playing, was a reminder of what makes music so powerful: its ability to connect, uplift, and to move us all.
Audiences were treated to an inspiring programme ranging from timeless classics including West Side Story, Les Misérables, Disney and The Sound of Music to modern favourites from La La Land, Heathers, Dear Evan Hansen, A Star is Born, Six and Wicked.
What made this night truly special was the diversity of talent and the spirit of teamwork across year groups, ensembles and musical styles — from the energy of the House band and the warmth of the orchestras to the beautiful harmonies of our choirs and the sensitivity of our soloists. Our Flute Group, Classical Guitar Ensemble, Steel Pans, Jazz Collective and Folk Group provided their own take to the showtunes as well.
We are incredibly proud of every performer for their commitment, enthusiasm and hard work. My thanks go to all the staff, parents and students whose support made this production possible. Thank you for helping create a night that we will definitely remember.
