Newstead Wood School is committed to offering an inclusive curriculum to ensure the best possible progress for all our students whatever their needs or abilities. We have a dedicated and supportive team who oversee the development of our students, both academically and pastorally. Provision for students with special needs is a matter for the school as a whole and we offer a range of support to help with communication and interaction, cognition and learning difficulties, social, mental and emotional health problems or sensory or physical needs. The support deployed will be tailored to individual needs following thorough assessment by internal or external agencies. It is designed to promote students to become independent and resilient learners and should not be seen in isolation.
