The majority of our students go on to Higher Education; many to Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities, and will benefit from exceptional support in relation to their transition; activities include:
- Oxbridge, Elite University, MDV Mentoring for students applying to these Universities
- Mock University Admissions tests
- Practice University Interviews with key staff, Alumni or guest visitors
- Help choosing the right course
- Personal statement writing workshops
- UCAS application process - step-by-step advice and guidance
We also recognise that there is an increasing interest in Degree Apprenticeships; we actively promote these opportunities through presentations and sharing information from organisations with our students.
The impact of the Careers Programme is regularly assessed, in the form of continuous evaluation. We seek feedback from students, teachers and parents after key events so that we can tailor our programme to student's needs.
